Position OverviewManager of Student Culture & Support (MoSCS) is tasked with ensuring all Noble students at all Noble campuses feel safe and supported—a environment where the daily culture is clear, consistent and connected and a place where students have the support needed to thrive in Noble’s culture of high academic and behavioral expectations. The Manager of Student Culture & Support (MoSCS) reports to the Director of Student Culture & Support, manages a coaching caseload (campus Culture leads), leads professional development, supports campuses in crisis situations as a member of the crisis support team, and collaborates regularly with the other members of the SCS Team and Noble’s Safety & Security team.
KeyRoles & Responsibilities School Culture & Safety
Work closely with the Director of Student Culture & Support, SCS team members, and the Safety and Security team to effectively engage with each campus on the coaching caseload to promote safe schools grounded in a culture that is Clear, Consistent, and Connected. In addition to ~monthly network‑wide culture lead development meetings, this work includes the direct ongoing, onsite coaching of our AP/Deans of Culture around the quality implementation of all daily Noble Community Pact policies and practices (facility and common space staffing/monitoring, weekly reflections, exclusionary practices, etc.),
as well as, when needed, the assistance in the development of student safety plans, crisis management support, culture curriculum (e.g. quarterly and summer culture class curriculum), etc.
Through regular auditing, data tracking/reporting, training and site visits, ensure that Noble campuses meet all legal requirements laid out by the state, city and federal authorities, as well as align to all culture and student support commitments/beliefs outlined through Noble’s internal student and staff handbooks. This includes, but is not limited to, close oversight and alignment of exclusionary practices to SB100, record keeping around restraint and time‑out policies, tracking of credit recovery/promotion/graduation programming, and implementation of student handbook (NCP) systems (behavior logs, weekly reflections, quarterly/summer classes, etc.)
GeneralCompliance & Quality
Regularly assess culture‑based data (student retention, weekly reflections, suspensions, expulsions, etc.), with an equity lens, to identify strengths and trends that require network attention as well as support relevant initiatives to address disparities in the data. This role will specifically oversee monthly suspension compliance audits.
CommunicationsOversee the creation, implementation, and maintenance of discipline and culture team knowledge management systems, including a weekly newsletter, and other relevant correspondence and updates.
Measured Metrics of SuccessSuccess for the Manager of Student Culture & Support is determined by the ongoing improvement of multiple culture and student support metrics. This includes, but is not limited to, metrics like % of students meeting self‑discipline requirements, 90%+ Valuable Use of time on SCS Team PD (August/Q1/Q2/Q3/CL Development), Campus Culture & Climate Audits, number of Tier 3 & 4 infractions, and NCPQA/SB100 compliance audit scores.
