Groomer Channel Manager

Overview

The Grooming Channel Manager grows all facets of the grooming service line across the Digs portfolio and brands. Implement strategies to establish The Digs Way of grooming and bathing, attract and develop talent to sustain and grow the service line, and continuously audit and improve grooming activities. This role reports to the Director of Growth (remote in North Carolina), with the VP of Growth based at Dig’s Chicago HQ.

• Drive top-line organic growth of the Digs Grooming service offering across the portfolio.
• Develop and deploy the national grooming strategy, integrating it across facilities and brands.
• Lead workforce planning for grooming talent in partnership with HR and Operations.
• Own attraction, development, and acquisition of grooming talent nationally, in collaboration with Operations to grow the service line.
• Develop SOPs and igs Way of grooming within 4-wall operations and deploy them consistently across the network.
• Manage and inspire the team of groomers alongside General Managers and Operations, strengthening the grooming culture at Digs.
• Audit grooming operations to improve top-line growth and profitability and ensure The Digs Way is implemented.
• Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Operations, and Facilities to ensure grooming is well-represented in branding, onboarding, and space planning discussions.
• Ability to take on projects as needed.

• 10+ years of experience managing groomers in a pet boarding & grooming operations environment.
• 10+ years of direct grooming experience in an entrepreneurial environment.
• Leadership experience across multiple locations at scale.
• Proven ability to work cross-functionally in a multi-site, multi-layered operations organization.
• Proven ability to lead without authority by building trust and influence across a matrixed organization to drive results without direct reporting lines.
• Experience with P&L management of scaled grooming operations.
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 30%, to the Digs HQ and to various nationwide locations.

Total compensation ranges from $70,000 to $80,000, including base salary and an annual bonus.

The pay range for this role is: 70,000 - 80,000 USD per year (Chicago HQ)
