ABOUTTHE ROLE
The Head of Regional Performance Maintenance is responsible for overseeing the maintenance operations across multiple regions, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency. The ambition is to reach industrial cost leadership and sustainability goals by developing Safe, Sustainable, Successful, Self-Sufficient Plants.
WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH- Developing and implementing maintenance strategies.
- Leading a team of maintenance professionals.
- Leveraging Best-Cost Country (BCC) sourcing strategies to optimize operational expenditures.
- Monitoring performance metrics and KPIs.
- Manage the approval process for CAPEX initiatives driving continuous improvement and operational accountability across American plant sites.
- Collaborating with other departments to enhance operational efficiency.
- Participate as an integral member of the plant leadership team to create a high performance culture.
- Provide leadership and technical expertise on maintenance related matters.
- Oversee the maintenance department to achieve key performance indicators; communicate with and coordinate planning and resources with primary internal customers.
- Align maintenance plans to achieve key performance indicators and/or market demand.
- Plan major maintenance projects and develop capital investment recommendations for the plant.
- Provide leadership, coaching, training, and development to all employees in the maintenance department.
- Responsible for development, oversight, and effective management of department budgets.
- Analyze overall performance of the operation and communicate results with appropriate team members to drive continuous improvement.
- Ensure optimization and execution of all maintenance resources.
- Optimize overall equipment effectiveness at the lowest sustainable cost of maintenance Perform statistical analysis, prepare reports, and maintain appropriate department records and files as required.
- Manage and improve key maintenance metrics, including Maintenance Cost, Reliability, equipment performance/lifetime, CAPEX replacement optimization, and Net Working Capital (NWC) optimization.
- Review plant performance by challenging operations, providing regional benchmarks, sharing potential improvement areas, and agreeing on target values.
- Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.
- Works closely with the Operations Manager.
- Collaborates with the Safety Officer.
- Interacts with the Supply Chain Manager.
- Coordinates with the Quality Assurance team.
Education: Bachelor's degree
15+ Years of management experience in the cement or similar industrial facility
Field of Study Preferred: Engineering or related field
