Pay rate: up to $110,000-$133,000 annually. The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

This role is ideal for someone with deep AV industry expertise, strong client-facing skills, and leadership potential. You will partner closely with senior leadership to deliver exceptional AV solutions while helping build processes, mentor team members, and contribute to long-term business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale and technically complex AV projects.
  • Develop detailed project schedules, resource plans, and implementation strategies.
  • Identify risks proactively and implement mitigation plans to ensure smooth installations.
  • Manage project budgets, labor forecasting, subcontractor costs, and overall financial performance.
  • Oversee project teams and provide mentoring, coaching, and guidance to project management staff.
  • Represent the organization in client meetings, construction meetings, and executive-level discussions.
  • Drive customer satisfaction by ensuring successful project outcomes and strong stakeholder communication.
  • Review and approve change orders, project documentation, and project closeout activities.
  • Contribute to process improvements and best practices that strengthen project delivery.
  • Support business growth initiatives and help expand the AV practice through industry expertise and client engagement.

  • Proven experience managing complex AV integration, workplace technology, or smart building projects.
  • Strong leadership, mentoring, and team development experience.
  • Demonstrated success managing project schedules, budgets, resources, and risk.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and client relationship management skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, startup-like environment where adaptability is essential.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • PMP, CTS-D, CTS-I, or related certifications.

What Success Looks Like

  • You act as a trusted advisor to leadership, clients, and project teams.
  • You consistently identify and solve problems before they impact project delivery.
  • You help build scalable processes and contribute to the growth of the AV practice.
  • You create exceptional experiences for both external clients and internal stakeholders.
  • You develop and mentor team members while positioning yourself for future leadership opportunities.
  • Based in the Chicago Fulton Market/West Loop area.
  • Primarily onsite and client-facing during the first six months.
  • Potential opportunity for a more flexible hybrid schedule based on business needs and performance.
  • Travel between office locations, project sites, and client locations may be required.

Why Join?
