The Regional Access Director (RAD) is a first-line people leader responsible for the development, coaching, performance management, and day-to-day execution of a geographically dispersed Field Access Manager (FAM) team. This position leads all field reimbursement activities within the assigned region to achieve key patient access objectives in alignment with company vision, values, compliance standards, and client expectations. The RAD observes field activity, identifies market opportunities and access barriers, and develops actionable regional plans that enable FAMs to support healthcare provider offices, strengthen account engagement, and improve patient access outcomes.

This role is accountable for building team capability through regular field coaching, performance feedback, skill development, operating discipline, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders to optimize patient access.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinate in-field activity to maximize market, segment, and team dynamics to drive results.
  • Serve as the first-line manager for assigned Field Access Managers, providing clear direction, prioritization, coaching, and accountability for regional field execution.
  • Conduct routine field visits, ride-a-longs, coaching conversations, and performance reviews to reinforce compliant field behaviors, strengthen account planning, and develop individual FAM capabilities.
  • Build and sustain a high-performing field-based team by identifying skill gaps, creating development plans, sharing best practices, and fostering a culture of engagement, inclusion, accountability, and continuous learning.
  • Ensure smooth, collaborative efforts in both day-to-day and long-term business execution.
  • Set tone and pace for business process and organization.
  • Maintain required technical expertise to respond accurately to all questions regarding products, policies, and business-related issues from customers and representatives.
  • Effectively plan and conduct plan-of-action and other meetings with members of corporate leadership.
  • Have complete understanding of all relevant compliance laws, policies and processes.
  • Ensure actions of self and team are fully compliant.
  • Provide direction and insights to key internal partners in business planning process.
  • Partner with training, analytics, compliance, HUB operations, client stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to ensure the field team is equipped with the tools, knowledge, reporting, and resources needed to execute effectively.
  • Consistently exemplify both EVERSANA and the client’s Cultural Beliefs and high ethical standards.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion through continuous development, modeling inclusive behaviors, and proactively managing bias.
  • All other duties as assigned.
