Continuing Medical Education Manager

The Continuing Medical Education Manager (CME Manager) contributes to the assigned market's vision regarding continuing medical education via service delivery, program development and execution, management, quality assurance, continuous improvement, and strategic planning. The CME Manager is responsible for the day-to-day administration and operation of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) program. The CME Manager develops and maintains the educational quality of the CME program and ensures compliance with the ACCME standards and regulatory requirements.

The CME Manager functions as a liaison between physicians, providers, participating sites, hospital administration, and other departments. Occasional travel may be required.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

1. Bachelor's degree in related field required.

2. Master's degree preferred in management/administration, adult education, or related field.

3. Minimum of five (5) years senior management experience in educational, health care and/or regulatory field.

4. Strong commitment to balancing service with regulatory functions.

5. Dedicated to continuous improvement and quality assurance processes.

6. Self-directed, self-motivated team player experienced at managing and motivating staff.

7. Must value a highly demanding environment that combines strategical and tactical responsibilities.

8. Excellent verbal, presentation, teaching, public speaking, interpersonal and written communication skills.

9. Excellent organizational and prioritization skills; rigorous attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple projects and adhere to strict deadlines.

10. Experience with an accreditation or credentialing organization.

11. Experience managing an accredited CME program.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $76,960.00 to $ on an annualized basis.

The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
