Boutique Director

Summary

The Boutique Director is responsible for managing and growing the Buccellati boutique in Chicago, driving sales across all product categories while delivering exceptional luxury client experiences. The role oversees operational excellence including inventory, shipping and receiving, visual merchandising, staffing, and payroll compliance. The Director develops client relationships, coordinates events and product launches, and leads the store team to achieve business objectives.

• Drive achievement of annual boutique sales goals across all categories.
• Lead staffing, scheduling, payroll compliance, and talent development for the boutique team.
• Plan and execute product launches, events, and market activities to generate clients and increase visibility.
• Manage operations including shipping and receiving, inventory control, cycle counts, and aftersales to minimize loss.
• Ensure visual merchandising aligns with brand direction and coordinate with Retail and HQ.
• Coach and mentor sales associates, set performance goals, and provide ongoing feedback.

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 5-7 years of management experience, preferably in luxury retail or hospitality.
• Fine jewelry experience is a plus.
• Strong computer skills including SAP, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication and client service skills.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays; ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
