A well-established manufacturing organization is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to oversee supply chain operations and ensure efficient material flow to support production. This role reports to the Operations Director and is responsible for planning, procuring, stocking, and distributing materials to meet operational and customer demands. The anticipated salary for this role is between $90,000-$125,000 + bonus (typically 5%).

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute materials management strategies aligned with production requirements and demand forecasts
  • Source and evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, purchase materials per specifications, and manage supplier performance
  • Monitor inventory levels to ensure accuracy and optimize stock, minimizing shortages and excess inventory
  • Oversee receiving, warehousing, and distribution of raw materials and finished goods
  • Identify opportunities for cost reduction, process improvement, and value creation across the supply chain
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, production, and sales to align material availability with schedules and customer demand
  • Recruit, train, supervise, and mentor a team of materials professionals, including buyers and inventory specialists
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards (including OSHA and 5S), and applicable regulatory requirements
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Procurement, Logistics, Operations Management, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in materials management, procurement, or supply chain roles, preferably within a manufacturing environment
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency with ERP and MRP systems
  • Proven ability to analyze problems, evaluate options, and implement effective solutions
  • Hands-on, self-motivated professional with strong initiative and confidence
