- Lead, mentor, and supervise Quality Control Technicians
- Oversee inspections, testing, and documentation throughout all stages of precast production
- Ensure compliance with PCI, ACI, ASTM, and internal quality standards
- Maintain and optimize concrete mix designs for performance, cost, and quality
- Coordinate with production and plant leadership to align schedules and resolve quality issues
- Communicate with engineers regarding drawings, specifications, and technical concerns
- Monitor batching, casting, curing, stripping, and storage processes for quality adherence
- Prepare and submit inspection reports and maintain accurate QC documentation
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and uphold safety standards
Qualifications:
- 6–8+ years of quality control experience in precast, prestressed concrete, or concrete manufacturing
- Concrete plant and/or building materials industry experience required
- Strong understanding of PCI, ACI, and ASTM standards
- ACI Field Technician Level 1 required
- Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and specifications
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
