Senior Manager, Advanced Manufacturing Engineering
This position is responsible for strategic planning, project management, process optimization, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to enhance manufacturing safety, efficiency, and quality. The Senior Manager of Advanced Manufacturing Engineering drives innovation, implementing best practices, and contributing to the overall success of the manufacturing operation.

- Analyzing the current method of production by observing operations, working hand in hand with shop associates, conducting comprehensive research, interviewing suppliers, and using information about the product and components.
- Creating new ways of producing products by utilizing industry research, product knowledge, cost information, and company goals.
- Developing alternative methods to improve cycle time, efficiency, and cost, analyze constraints, material requirements and current needs to improve.
- Communicating and making recommendations to shop floor associates as well as company leaders. The goal is to have the best use of production timelines, equipment, and supplies. Creates detailed plans for the company’s manufacturing goals for the months or years ahead.
- Investigating new manufacturing technologies, facilities improvements, and efficiency options with a scalability, automation, and safety mind set.
- Generating an accurate database of all production details and data. Champion and implement lean thinking and methods in everything we do.
- Continuing to develop professional expertise and proficiencies by periodically participating in classes, conferences, and other developmental opportunities.
- A liaison with a team of shop floor associates, machinery operators, managers, and product developers to ensure everyone is contributing to the common goal.
- Collaborate with Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, and Product Development teams to optimize material selections and designs for low delivered cost, built-in-quality and reliability.
- Support new product introductions (NPI) with robust manufacturing strategies and scalable processes.
- Working cross functionally to provide solutions to leadership when presented with manufacturing concerns.
- Lead and mentor a high-performing engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Knowledge of computer design and engineering software.
- Experience in using an ERP system and tools for analysis.
- Experience leading and managing projects to improve throughput, reduce waste, and enhance product quality.
- Excellent attention to detail and time management.
- Ability to provide feedback both orally and in writing.
- Machine design and evaluation.
- Design for Manufacturing and Assembly experience (DFM & DFA).
- Demonstrated ability to think creatively and develop unconventional solutions to complex manufacturing challenges.
- Hands‑on approach to troubleshooting and process improvement, with a willingness to personally engage in technical problem solving.
- Fabrication and Assembly robotics experience preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering with coursework in the manufacturing process.
- 10 or more years working in manufacturing in a leadership capacity.
