Blends & Packs products with respect to production, quality, safety and sanitation in an efficient manner. Responsible for following Company food safety and quality programs and assisting in the investigation and correction of any non-conformance.

• 1st (6am to 2pm)
• 2nd (2pm to 10pm)

• Ensure ingredient traceability by accurately recording lot numbers in batch sheets.
• Ensure compliance to finished product weight requirements.
• Periodic magnet cleaning.
• Metal detectors are checked each shift, if the packing line is running.
• Ensure product traceability by accurately recording the lot number on the packaging log and confirming lot on the product label.
• Ensure packaging traceability by accurately recording the lot number of the packaging material or equivalent.
• Ensure compliance with “Hold & Release” policies regarding non-conforming products.
• Ensure compliance with Company rework policies.
• Packages designated products as instructed.
• Obtains proper bags from packaging areas.
• Samples product and reports irregularities to management.
• Maintains clean working areas.
• Performs miscellaneous job related duties as assigned.

• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and procedures.
• Knowledge of basic math.
• Oral and written communications skills.
• Understanding of basic technology of area where assigned.
• Must have interpersonal skills to work effectively with others
• Knowledge of quality, food safety and safe work procedures

• Bump caps, hearing protection, hair net, beard net (if applicable), dusk mask, uniforms, safety glasses, gloves and safety boots.
