Maintenance Technician / Mechanic
Overview
We’re partnering with a growing, family-owned food and beverage manufacturer to help them expand their maintenance team with the addition of a hands-on Maintenance Mechanic. The company produces high-quality private label cocktail mixers, coffee syrups, sauces, and concentrates for nationally recognized restaurant chains and food service distributors.
This isn’t a replacement hire — it’s a key addition to support rapid growth. The facility has grown significantly in size and production capacity, but the maintenance team hasn’t scaled to match — until now. If you're a strong mechanical troubleshooter who takes pride in problem-solving and keeping equipment running, this is your chance to join a company that values skill, initiative, and teamwork.
WhatYou’ll Handle Day to Day
- Troubleshooting & Repair – Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues on high-speed production lines, pumps, conveyors, and bottling equipment
- Preventive Maintenance – Perform scheduled maintenance tasks to maximize uptime and equipment reliability
- Production Line Support – Act quickly to keep lines moving when issues arise, collaborating closely with operators and leads
- Technical Learning – Read manuals, learn new equipment, and communicate with OEMs and vendors (if you’ve got the skills)
- Vision Systems & Automation (Bonus) – Experience with Allen Bradley PLCs, sensors, and/or robotics is a major plus
- No red tape – The team values hands-on people who want to jump in, contribute ideas, and make things better
- Flexible shifts – Opportunities available on 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift with some schedule flexibility
- Team culture – Join a tight-knit, supportive crew that shares knowledge and has each other’s backs
- Growth potential – With retirements on the horizon, high performers may be considered for future leadership roles
- Have 3+ years of mechanical maintenance experience in a food, beverage, or manufacturing environment
- Are strong with tools, troubleshooting, and equipment repair (welding, pneumatics, pumps, conveyors, etc.)
- Enjoy working independently but know when to collaborate
- Are comfortable with flexible hours, occasional Saturdays, and 5–10 hours of weekly OT
- Are eager to learn and improve — whether you’re working with vision systems, PLCs, or learning from your teammates
- Can read and interpret equipment manuals and (bonus!) communicate with OEMs when needed
