Quality Technician Requirements & Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Experience in a quality control role, ideally within manufacturing
  • Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving abilities
  • Comfortable standing for extended periods and handling testing equipment
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross‑functional team
  • Experience reading blueprints or technical drawings and inspecting parts for compliance
  • Familiarity with industry certifications such as ASNT or ASQ
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and job‑related software
Quality Technician Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities
  • Independently inspect incoming materials, in‑process production, and finished goods to ensure compliance with quality standards
  • Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and machining teams to resolve quality issues quickly and effectively
  • Support maintenance and calibration of measurement and non‑destructive testing equipment
  • Document and report non‑conformities, working closely with cross‑functional colleagues to address root causes
  • Assist in developing and implementing new quality control procedures and participate in ongoing training to grow technical skills
  • Promote quality principles and operational excellence throughout the production process
