Our solutions fall into two broad categories: control products and components.
Required the ability to disassemble and reassemble all parts of various products including the rebuild of rotary switches and hardware as well as grips and wheels. Should be able to perform continuity, torque, contact resistance, dielectric and insulation resistance testing with an understanding of detail mechanical parts assembly.
Position Duties- Repair and/or rebuild small rotary switches and electrical assemblies.
- Work at bench in repair center, rebuilding end products to original specification requirements.
- Perform repairs in accordance with established approved data and wires in accordance with schematic diagrams.
- Perform hand soldering by following wiring diagrams, engineering drawings, and repair center instructions.
- Perform mechanical assembly, alignment and adjustment.
- Bonds and seals parts together to form subassemblies and end products.
- Stamp parts to identify units being rebuilt.
- Recognize switch functional anomalies.
- Perform related duties as representative.
- Maintain the highest ethical standards, even when challenged from above.
- Enter data into ERP and use computer for communication, reports, etc.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience:
- High school education or general education degree (GED).
- Minimum of three years electro‑mechanical assembly experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Knowledge of FAA Regulations 14 CFR 43 & 145.
- Soldering certification of J‑standard rev‑C a plus. AS degree is preferred.
- Hand soldering and wiring.
- Blueprint and schematic reading.
- Hand‑eye coordination.
- Read and follow written repair station instructions.
- Use basic hand tools.
- Regular standing, sitting, talking, hearing, and use of hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone keyboard; reach, stoop, or kneel to install computer equipment.
- Lifting / pulling / pushing items from 1 lb up to 30 lb.
- Specific vision abilities required (no colorblindness or red‑green deficiency; close vision required for computer work).
- Ability to manage stress of working in a busy and demanding office environment.
- Regular, predictable attendance required.
