Maintenance Mechanic

• Perform all work in a safe manner following company policies and OSHA regulations.
• Perform preventive maintenance in accordance with preventive maintenance procedures.
• Troubleshoot machinery and determine and implement corrective actions.
• Order parts as needed in accordance with company policy.
• Remove, modify and replace machine components as needed.
• Perform welding (ARC, MIG) and torch cutting.
• Apply knowledge of metal fabrication, pipe fittings and other metalworking processes.
• Operate all machines and learn to use them efficiently.
• Apply electrical knowledge to solve assignments and program PLC's and drives; change outputs/inputs, modify programs and use laptop to troubleshoot equipment.
• Work with or without schematics.
• Train new maintenance mechanics.
• Work with hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Work day or afternoon shift, weekends, holidays and overtime as needed with short notice.
• Work with little supervision.
• Operate machines occasionally (other duties).

• High school diploma or GED.
• 3–5 years of work experience in a similar environment.
• Ability to perform the duties described above.
• Pre‑employment drug screening required upon acceptance of job offer.

Salary: $22.50 - $40.00 per week
