Entry Light Assembler

Trinity Industries is hiring Entry Light Assembly Techs at our Holden America Chicago, IL location.

Starting Pay for Position: $16.60 - $18.04

• Perform inspection of parts or material to ensure conformance with standards and determine if product meets all requirements.
• Carry out a variety of standard testing processes on in‑process or final products during manufacturing or inspection; record and analyze results.
• Apply industry‑specific tests and equipment knowledge.
• Use automated and manual techniques to perform non‑destructive tests to identify errors or defects.
• Be responsible for testing during production and finished products.
• Follow all safety rules and practices.
• Participate in safety committees or continuous improvement initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Basic knowledge of inspection tools and measuring equipment.
• Basic knowledge of operational functions to be inspected.
• Must be willing to achieve certification in at least one NDE method within 6 months.
• Perform basic quality control of incoming materials or end product.
