Per Diem CNC Machinist

Per Diem CNC Machinist - $120 per diem for 7 days - located in Washington, Missouri!

• Run production on CNC machining centers to manufacture metal parts according to specifications and production schedules.
• Perform machine set ups, production runs, and changeovers, ensuring tooling and fixtures are correctly installed and aligned.
• Conduct minor troubleshooting on CNC equipment to address basic issues and keep production running smoothly.
• Operate 3, 4, 5 axis machines, 98% mills.
• Set up and operate Haas, Ocuma, Mazak, Makino machines.
• Machinists perform their own setups or changeovers.
• Could be working on small open door machine, or running a large machine with 6-8 hours run time.
• Perform own deburring and blending to ensure everything is within tolerance.
• Could be blending parts up to 6 hours a day because of the tight tolerances.

• Fri‑Sun 12’s day shift
• Fri‑Sun 12’s night shift

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chicago, IL.

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $30.00/hr.
