Job Overview

Trinity Industries is hiring Entry Light Assembly Techs at our Holden America Chicago, IL location. Over the last 85 years, Trinity Industries has grown to over 6,000 employees strong with the common purpose of Delivering Goods, For the Good of All.

Pay Range: $16.60 - $18.04 per hour, plus $1.00 for night shift.

• Perform inspection of parts or material to ensure conformance with standards and determine if product meets all requirements.
• Perform a variety of standard testing processes on in-process or final products during manufacturing or inspection and record and analyze results.
• Apply knowledge of industry specific tests and testing equipment.
• Use automated and manual techniques, including non‑destructive testing, to identify errors or defects.
• Perform testing during production and for finished products.
• Follow all safety rules and practices, and may participate in safety committees or CI initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Basic knowledge of inspection tools and measuring equipment.
• Basic knowledge of operational function to be inspected.
• May be required to achieve certification in one NDE method within 6 months.
• Perform basic quality control of incoming materials or end product.
