Position DetailsAs an NAI Assembler, you will build products in customers’ homes. You will first be certified as an In‑Home Assembler Technician, assembling for customers like Leggett & Platt and Rooms to Go. After certification, you may become in‑store certified and assemble products in stores such as Walmart and Bass Pro. Additional trainer and grill certifications are available; the more certifications you earn, the more you can earn.
Work schedules include Monday‑Sunday, with hours based on customer requests. You must provide reliable transportation and your own tools. We offer a paid certification program to get you started quickly.
- Receive customer orders to complete installation or assembly jobs in customers’ homes
- Communicate with the customer to confirm all appointments
- Confirm work orders to ensure you are assembling the correct product
- Assemble product to National Assemblers’ specifications
- Build strong rapport with customers and ensure 100% satisfaction through good customer service and quality product
- Leave customers’ homes neat and clean, free of trash
- Complete follow-up notes in the NAI system after job completion
- Problem solver: identifies challenges and proactively recommends creative solutions
- Skilled professional: background in carpentry, installation, or in‑home services
- Reliable individual: proven attendance record, self‑motivated, adheres to schedule, meets tight deadlines
- Excellent communicator: strong ability to communicate with all types of customers and diffuse difficult situations; strong customer service is a must
