Control Panel Builder

As a Control Panel Builder, you will collaborate with our project teams and skilled panel shop staff to assemble high-quality UL508A control panels, server cabinets, and test stands. You will utilize drawings to build electrical equipment and ensure adherence to all safety policies.

• Assemble mechanical units and wire devices according to plans.
• Use hand tools, wire cutters, strippers, and other necessary equipment.
• Adhere to all company and regulatory safety policies.
• Build and wire industrial control panels based on schematics.
• Perform electrical cabinet construction, including mounting and wiring components.

• Experience in panel building or electronics with a 2-year technical degree or equivalent 2 years of experience.
• Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
• Strong communication skills and detail-oriented.
• Ability to work on feet for long periods and lift up to fifty pounds.

• Ability to read and use drawings to build electrical equipment.
• Experience with soldering and use of hand tools.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00/hr.

This is a Contract position based out of Chicago, IL.
