Forklift Operator - 2nd Shift

Reports to: Warehouse Manager
Shift: 2nd

Shift: Monday - Friday, 3 pm - 11:30 pm
Pay: $18.00/hr

This role is responsible for ensuring that all production areas have the materials they need when they need them and in the required quantities. The role also maintains accurate inventory by making inventory moves in the system and completing cycle counts as needed.

• Monitor and process workflow through operations.
• Initiate transfer orders.
• Verify all incoming parts are properly bar coded, tagged, and scanned to the correct location.
• Assist with inventory moves from plant to off-site warehouse locations.
• Track movement of parts, including control lots, through all operations within the facility.
• Monitor accuracy of inventory moves in Syte Line from receiving, anodizing, assembly, and any hold or inspection materials.
• Ensure staging or other warehouse materials place proper raw product on the production lines to meet current day’s needs.
• Research and resolve any negative inventory issues.
• Review and report any discrepancies to Logistics Manager.
• Assist with any other duties and projects as required by Plant or Warehouse Supervisor.
• Assist with all physical inventories on or offsite.

• Experience with forklift and/or cherry picker.
• Strong basic math skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to lift 30 lbs. or more.
• Basic computer skills and ability to fill out daily paperwork.
• Warehouse experience.
• Ability to stand or walk for a lengthy amount of time.
