We are hiring an experienced MIG/TIG Welder to join our growing manufacturing team. In this role, you will weld pressure vessels used in water filtration systems
, working with carbon steel and stainless steel in a clean, organized shop environment.

- Perform MIG and TIG welding on carbon and stainless steel pressure vessels
- Complete high-volume, repetitive production welds with precision and consistency
- Read and interpret blueprints and welding schematics to meet exact specifications
- Plan weld sequences, joint prep, and proper fit-up for pressure vessel fabrication
- Execute pipe welding, butt welds, and coupling welds
- Use welding positioners to perform interior and exterior welds
- Align, level, and square components to ensure tight, high-quality welds
- Grind, deburr, and prep materials for welding and final assembly
- Inspect welds for quality, penetration, and compliance with standards
- Safely operate material handling equipment to move parts and assemblies
- Maintain a clean workspace and follow all safety procedures and OSHA guidelines
- 5+ years of professional welding experience in manufacturing or fabrication
- Strong experience with MIG welding (GMAW) and TIG welding (GTAW)
- Experience welding carbon steel and stainless steel
- Ability to weld using positioners (interior/exterior vessel welding)
- Proficiency reading blueprints and technical drawings
- Experience with pipe welding, pressure vessels, and structural welding
- Ability to perform fabrication tasks (grinding, fitting, deburring)
- Skilled in using hand tools, measuring tools, and inspection equipment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce consistent, high-quality welds
- Experience with pressure vessel welding or ASME standards
- Background in sheet metal or structural welding
- Stick welding (SMAW) experience
- Previous production or manufacturing welding environment experience

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chicago, IL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $49.50 - $57.75/hr.
