• Model conveyor systems in 3D from concept through sales
• Design and model manufacturing equipment for food & coffee
• Collaborate directly with the sales team on customer requirements
• Optimize production processes alongside manufacturing
• Run R&D testing on new products in our lab

• Self-directed and comfortable working with limited guidance
• Fast learner who quickly grasps technical concepts
• Strong communicator across written and verbal channels
• Creative problem solver who thrives in ambiguity
• Organized and effective in a fast-paced environment

• Solid Works — 3D modeling required
• MS Office — Excel, Word, Outlook
• Plant design — Basic understanding helpful
• BOM / tolerances — A plus, not required

For nearly 60 years, MPE has designed and manufactured industrial grinders, conveyors, and complete plant systems for the coffee and food industries. Our Chicago facility serves customers across food, pet food, craft brewing, cereal, dried nuts, and chemical processing.
