Operations Manager, Production Manager
What Will You Do?
This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for stabilizing and advancing operations across production, warehousing, inventory control, scheduling, and logistics. The Head of Operations will lead operational improvements, strengthen processes, build team capability, and position the facility for significant future growth.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead day-to-day production, warehouse, shipping, and receiving operations.
- Drive operational improvements in manufacturing performance, scheduling, productivity, uptime, and material utilization.
- Develop and execute production schedules and capacity plans to meet customer demand.
- Improve inventory accuracy, warehouse controls, and material flow processes.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance.
- Standardize processes, implement best practices, and strengthen operational discipline.
- Analyze KPIs and operational metrics to identify trends and implement sustainable improvements.
- Lead and develop production supervisors and warehouse personnel while building a high-performing culture.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Logistics, Technical, and Sales teams.
- Support the facility’s growth strategy as the site expands into a larger multi-product operation.
- Minimum 10 years of manufacturing experience with a strong production management background.
- 5–10 years of leadership or supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Polymer processing experience required, with extrusion experience strongly preferred.
- Compounding experience highly preferred.
- Hands-on experience with polymer compounding processes, equipment, and troubleshooting.
- Proven ability to lead teams through operational change and process standardization.
- Experience improving manufacturing performance, yields, productivity, and scheduling.
- Strong understanding of inventory control, warehousing, and production planning.
- Experience working within ISO-certified manufacturing environments.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards required.
- Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and team-building skills.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Operations, Manufacturing, Engineering, or related discipline preferred.
