Industrial EHS Coordinator - Plant Floor Safety Lead

This is a hands-on Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Coordinator position at a established heavy industrial manufacturing facility focused on industrial equipment. The role provides daily site-level support for safety programs, including training, inspections, incident response, and documentation. It requires a practical professional who can work effectively on the plant floor in a safety-priority environment.

• Conduct new-hire safety orientations and routine training sessions, including forklift certification
• Perform regular safety inspections, walkthroughs, and report findings
• Assist with incident response, documentation, reporting, and corrective action tracking
• Maintain training records, safety files, logs, and serve as Safety Committee scribe
• Provide daily EHS support and escort vendors/contractors on-site

• Associate degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or related field preferred
• Minimum 1 year safety experience in industrial or manufacturing environment required
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
