Operator - Material Handling

Flexible schedule; availability required for weekends, nights, holidays and overtime as needed.

Operate and maintain heavy equipment such as a prilling unit, frontend loaders, ship loaders, conveyors, hoppers, and other mobile equipment. Material handled:
Sulphur.

• Follow proper safety rules and operating procedures to support zero-tolerance safety objectives.
• Operate and maintain heavy equipment (prilling unit, frontend loaders, ship loader, conveyors, hoppers, and other mobile equipment).
• Complete and maintain required daily paperwork.
• Perform housekeeping duties, including shoveling, washing down work areas, and keeping offices, restrooms, break rooms and work rooms clean and tidy.
• Assist maintenance personnel as needed and directed.
• Maintain company objectives and expectations in the absence of the Facility Manager and Operations Manager.
• Work weekends, nights, holidays and overtime as required to maintain safe and efficient operations.

• Learn to operate priller, stacker, ship loader and conveyor systems.
• Experience with bulk materials, conveyor systems and heavy equipment.
• Proven ability to focus on details, follow work rules and adhere to work schedules.
• Experience with OSHA guidelines, policies, and procedures.
• High School Diploma required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in standard office software (Word, Excel, Outlook).

• Work in an environment containing Sulphur odor/dust, hazardous noise, confined space, and hot or cold temperatures.
• Climb stairs and ladders, and walk and stand for long periods of time.
• Have the ability to wear required PPE.
