Molly’s Cupcakes is looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Assistant Pastry Chef to join our River East team. We’re looking for someone who doesn’t just "follow recipes," but truly cares about the texture of a buttercream and the perfect finish on a cake.

As a vital part of our pastry team, you will support the daily creation of our award-winning treats in a fast-paced, creative environment. This role is ideal for a self-motivated professional who finds joy in hands-on production and high standards.

• Artisanal Production: Assist in crafting our signature batters, butter creams, frostings, mousses, and fillings with precision and care.
• Finishing Touches: Support cake decorating and finishing, ensuring every item leaving the kitchen meets our aesthetic standards.
• Kitchen Excellence: Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workstation, upholding the highest food safety and sanitation practices.
• Team Synergy: Collaborate closely with the pastry team to meet daily production goals while maintaining a positive, solution-oriented mindset.

• Experience & Skill: At least 1 year of pastry or baking experience is preferred—specifically with the experience making butter creams, cake batters, and mousses.
• An Eye for Detail: You notice the small things and strive for consistency in every batch.
• Reliability: You are dependable, comfortable with early morning starts, and thrive in a structured production environment.
• Physical Stamina: You are comfortable standing for your shift and can safely lift 50 lbs.
