Pay Rate: $48 per hour
Hours: 7:00am-3:30pm (flexible as sometimes additional coverage is needed, i.e., 8:00am to 5:00pm)
Location: Chicago, IL Responsibilities:
  • Lead production operations in the plant and deliver key performance targets in safety, quality, productivity, volumes, cost, sustainability, and organizational morale.
  • Manage change and transformation among operating teams in the implementation of IL6S-Integrated Lean 6 Sigma and other models to progress into self-sufficient teams.
  • Support the manufacturing annual operational plans and targets to meet safety, quality, cost, delivery, sustainability, and engagement goals.
  • Establish strong governance to review, control operational performance, and continuous improvement plans.
  • Support all manufacturing standards, governance, and compliance requirements are in place and regularly reviewed.
  • Lead talent, capabilities, and engagement for the manufacturing team.
  • Perform daily monitoring and correction of transactional errors affecting data integrity and inventory management.
  • Ensure 100% compliance with SOX requirements and support internal audits.
  • Problem solve root causes of errors and provide ad-hoc training and job aides.
  • Ensure inventory accuracy through cycle counts and support raw, pack, and FG cycle counts.
  • Monitor and manage inventory in SAP-ECC inventory locations and manage SAP adjustments.
  • Serve as Plant Data Steward ensuring BOM accuracy and analyze data and trends for improvement recommendations.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 3 years of experience required.
  • Strong SAP experience required.
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
  • Strong computer (MS Office) and communication skills (oral and written).
  • Prior experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Prior operations experience with production responsibility.
Preferred Skills:
  • Prior experience implementing World Class Manufacturing tools and processes related to material flow.
  • Background in LEAN manufacturing systems.
  • Prior experience with implementation of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) principles and Lean-Six Sigma capability tools.
