Description:

We are hiring dependable, entry‑level Food Production Associates to support daily food manufacturing operations in Union, IL. This position is a great opportunity for candidates who are comfortable working in a hands‑on, fast‑paced production environment.

Food Production Associates will help produce sauces and food products by preparing ingredients, filling jars, packaging finished products, cleaning work areas, and supporting the production team. Employees will rotate between different tasks throughout the shift, so the work is active and not repetitive all day.

This role is a good fit for someone who is reliable, physically able to work on their feet, comfortable lifting, and willing to follow strict food safety, quality, and workplace safety procedures. • Open cans and add ingredients to industrial kettles.
• Assist with producing sauces and food products.
• Fill jars, apply caps, and package finished products.
• Rotate between different production tasks throughout the shift.
• Stage raw materials and supplies for production.
• Assist with cleaning, trash removal, and general sanitation duties.
• Support production lines and team operations.
• Work around kettles, mixing tanks, filling machines, conveyors, capping stations, labeling lines, and packaging stations.
• Use basic tools such as industrial can openers, bins, and containers.
• Assist with quality checks in inspection areas.
• Follow all food safety, quality, and workplace safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.

• Must wear required PPE, including hair nets and beard nets when applicable.
• Must wear solid work boots; steel‑toe boots are preferred but not required.
• No phones are allowed on the production floor.
• No smoking or vaping allowed.
• Must bring meals, as there are limited nearby food options.
