Position

Purpose:

Packs boxes and prepares product for shipment

• Remove finished products from the machine, place product labels, pack items in bags and cartons, and place finished product in the proper location as per specifications.
• Perform advanced quality checks, and effectively communicate with operator and supervisor to ensure that finished products are made to required quality specifications.
• Aide in the proper and effective operation of the machinery.
• Be willing to assist in other areas of the plant, including covering lunches and breaks as required.
• Perform all work in a safety first mentality and with utilization of IPG lean manufacturing skills.
• Perform related tasks as requested by supervisor.

• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• Intermediate math skills and English written communication skills necessary.
• Ability to stand and walk for up to 12 hours at a time required.
• Ability to work in a limited space area on a continuous basis.
• Ability to lift and maneuver up to 50 lbs on a consistent basis.
