Quality Engineer II
Duration: 6+ months with possible extension. Pay Range: $40-44.92/hr this position is 100% onsite at the Chicago bakery, working 3rd shift to start (11pm to 7am, M-F) with a possible move to 2nd shift and weekends so flexibility is critical.
Education / Certifications:• Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Quality, Manufacturing, or related field preferred, or equivalent experience. Job specific requirements:
• 3–5 years of experience in quality, food safety, or manufacturing roles.
• Experience executing quality holds, investigations, and documentation.
• Willingness to work assigned production shift (1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift).
• Familiarity with quality systems and regulatory requirements (e.g., QCMS, HACCP, FSSC) preferred.
Work schedule:
- Second Shift: M-F 3pm to 11pm
- Third Shift: M-F 11pm to 7am
- WE B Shift: S-S- M 7pm to 7am F:
Alternates every week Fridays 6am-10am/11am-3pm
