Position Overview
Sr Contract Manufacturing Specialist, reporting to the Contract Manufacturing leadership team.
Responsibilities- Lead operations for assigned co-manufacturing locations, delivering results across food safety, quality, customer service, and cost performance.
- Serve as the operations lead for brand initiatives across impacted co-manufacturing locations.
- Support data gathering, spend analysis, and loss analysis to identify opportunities tied to cost savings initiatives.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to prepare, facilitate, and execute cost savings ideation sessions.
- Lead and contribute to business process improvement projects across contract manufacturing operations.
- Support use of business systems including SAP transactions and maintenance of the contract management database.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in operations, engineering, or a science-related field.
- Three to five years of progressive experience in manufacturing operations in a food environment.
- Experience in factory operations within a food manufacturing environment, including roles such as production supervisor or team leader.
- Experience in warehousing, quality assurance, continuous improvement, maintenance, or engineering is preferred.
- Proven record of developing and implementing change in complex environments.
- Strong understanding of food safety requirements in a manufacturing setting.
- Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
- High energy and adaptability to work across a matrixed organization.
- Willingness to travel up to 50 percent.
Essential tasks may include walking around the facility, climbing stairs or ladders, kneeling, or performing repetitive tasks that require hand‑eye coordination. Employees may be required to lift or carry materials that can vary in weight and size. This is a manufacturing environment with large, moving equipment. Noise levels can be high, and temperatures may vary.
CompensationPay Range: $82,000 – $120,000. Salary will be based on location, relevant experience, skill set, and internal equity considerations.
