Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a Tailor to join our team in Chicago, IL. We are seeking a skilled and detail‑oriented Seamstress/Tailor to join our warehouse team on 2nd shift. This role involves operating industrial sewing equipment to alter, repair, and assemble textile products. Candidates should have hands‑on experience with industrial sewing machines and a strong commitment to quality and efficiency.

• Starting at $16.60 to $18/hour

• Located in Chicago, IL

• Operate industrial sewing machines, including overlock (serger) and straight needle machines
• Perform alterations, repairs, and assembly of garments or textile products
• Inspect materials and finished products to ensure quality standards are met
• Follow production schedules and meet daily output goals
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation
• Adhere to all safety procedures and warehouse guidelines
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors

• Previous experience with industrial sewing machines required
• Experience using overlock (serger) and straight needle machines preferred
• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced warehouse environment
• Good hand‑eye coordination and manual dexterity
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift light to moderate materials
• Background in garment construction or textile production
• Familiarity with different fabric types and sewing techniques
• Ability to read basic work instructions or patterns
