Manufacturing & Industrial Operations, General Labor, Maintenance Technician / Mechanic
Understand and adhere to all company safety procedures and participate in regular periodic Environmental, Health and Safety training.
Ensure all corn deliveries are unloaded safe and efficiently. Perform necessary cleaning, troubleshooting, and light maintenance on all receiving pits.
Respond rapidly to grain equipment issues negatively impacting production and/or safety.
Manage silo levels and execute monthly cleanouts.
Operate front-end loader safe and efficiently. Perform routine inspections, light maintenance, and refer defects or repairs to the supervisor. Clean and service daily.
Load DDG, WDGS and MDGS onto trucks with front-end loader.
Operate the locomotive safe and efficiently. Perform routine inspections, light maintenance, and refer defects or repairs to supervisor.
Load ethanol onto railcars following all DOT and FRA requirements.
Manage rail yard by moving and organizing all railcars according to our shipping schedule.
Manage tank farm by transferring, certifying, and loading ethanol in accordance with our production schedule.
Removes samples of materials, labels with identifying information, and takes samples to laboratory for analysis.
Receive and unload chemical deliveries.
Attend additional training required to perform daily tasks.
Frequent use of equipment to include forklift, man lift, scissor lift, street sweeper and skid-steer.
QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent required.

Working Conditions &Physical Requirements
Able to work a flexible work schedule with varying days and hours, including call-ins.
Able to work outdoors in all seasons and work at heights.
Able to climb ladders and stairs and lift up to 100lbs
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include peripheral vision and depth perception.
The starting wage for this position is $30/hour, with potential adjustments based on skills, experience and qualifications.
