We are seeking an experienced Welder/Fabricator to join our growing team in Chicago, IL. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with structural and custom metal fabrication, blueprint reading, and MIG/TIG welding. Immediate openings are available for qualified candidates.
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Welder/Fabricator to join our growing team in Chicago, IL. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with structural and custom metal fabrication, blueprint reading, and MIG/TIG welding. Immediate openings are available for qualified candidates.
- Perform MIG and TIG welding on steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
- Fabricate and assemble metal components from blueprints and shop drawings.
- Measure, cut, fit, and weld materials to precise specifications.
- Operate fabrication equipment including grinders, saws, and cutting tools.
- Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Minimum 3 years of welding/fabrication experience.
- Proficient in MIG and TIG welding.
- Ability to read blueprints and fabrication drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work overtime as needed.
- Welding certifications are a plus but not required.
- Competitive pay: $22–$32/hour DOE
