Hours:

* 4:30 PM
-1:00 AM (Monday - Friday)
  
* Overtime may be required based on business needs

Compensation

 At S&C, we are dedicated to providing competitive and equitable compensation for
 all our team members, with a commitment to transparency in our pay practices.
 The estimated hourly base pay rate for this position is $20.00. This role is
 also eligible for S&C’s annual short-term incentive bonus, subject to
 eligibility criteria.

 Join Our Team as a Material Handler!

 The Material Handler –Transporting material from inventory locations to
 production lines / shipping making the necessary transactions using ERP systems
 (Oracle). Maintaining inventory accuracy and organization.

Key Responsibilities:

* Complete S&C Forklift certification program, including any required testing
    and certification hours need to pass the program. 
  
* Manage inventory transaction using ERP systems (Oracle).
  
* Support inventory activities such as cycle counting and maintaining inventory
    accuracy.
  
* Work with cross functional teams such as planning, offsite warehouses, and
    production leadership to ensure on time parts delivery and inventory
    accuracy.
  
* Proactively identify process gaps and recommend improvements to strengthen
    inventory control / accuracy.
  
* Reconcile discrepancies between physical counts and Oracle, investigate root
    causes while recommending corrective actions.
  
* Support receiving procedures and manage material storage and flow between
    inventory and production lines.
  
* Utilize Oracle ERP to determine part quantities, locations, and receiving
    history. 
  
* Review job orders and part drawings to accurately determine which parts and
    materials are needed for specific jobs and areas. 
  
* Other responsibilities as assigned.

What you’ll Need To Succeed:

* High School Diploma/GED
  
* 1+ years of demonstrated experience in a material handling or related role
    within a manufacturing environment. 
  
* 1+ years of driving a forklift, (standup preferred), with a safe driving
    record. 
  
* Ability to operate an electric forklift for indoor and outdoor use. 
  
* Good attention to detail, with the ability to determine accurate order
    quantities consistently. 
  
* Ability to work independently and meet requirements of assigned materials
    requests. 
  
* Good communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to articulate
    information efficiently and effectively to team members in a variety of
    production support departments. 
  
* Basic computer skills with the ability to review and respond to requests via
    internal applications. 
  
* Basic math skills with the ability to calculate quantities and weights. 
  
* Good interpersonal and organizational skills with the ability to understand
    and complete requests given by team member inside and outside of the
    department. 
  
* Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments
    such as scales and calipers. 
  
* Ability and willingness to follow Health Safety & Environment procedures
    accurately, reporting concerns promptly to the safety action team. 
  
* Proficient in using MS Office products, including Outlook, Word, and Excel. 

 Preferred:

* Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement manufacturing
    principles
