Assembly Operations Lead

Do you enjoy leading a team while remaining hands‑on in a manufacturing environment? Labelmaster is seeking an Assembly Operations Lead to support daily assembly operations, coach team members, and help ensure safety, quality, and productivity goals are met.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and support Production Assembly team members on the production floor
- Perform hands‑on assembly of products and subassemblies using hand tools and equipment
- Assist with daily staffing, workflow coordination, and production priorities
- Train, coach, and develop employees
- Monitor quality standards and perform production inspections
- Support safety initiatives and ISO 9001 quality requirements
- Utilize Business Central to complete production transactions
- Lead daily huddles and drive continuous improvement efforts
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Manufacturing, assembly, or production experience
- Prior lead, supervisory, or team leadership experience
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work in a fast‑paced environment
- ERP experience (Business Central/Navision)
- ISO 9001 experience
- Mechanical aptitude
- Microsoft Office proficiency
- Experience training and coaching employees
- Lift, push, pull, and carry up to 35 lbs.
- Ability to stand and work on the production floor throughout the shift
