Looking to make an impact early in your engineering career? Arkema is seeking a Production
Engineer to support manufacturing operations and drive operational excellence at our Alsip, IL facility. This is a highly visible role with opportunities to contribute to new product commercialization, process optimization, and plant performance improvement.
What You'll Do:- Support daily manufacturing operations in a batch chemical facility
- Lead troubleshooting efforts and implement sustainable solutions
- Coordinate product scale-up and commercialization activities
- Support DeltaV process control systems and process safety initiatives
- Analyze operational performance and identify opportunities for improvement
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering
- 2+ years of chemical manufacturing experience
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Experience with process controls, process safety, Six Sigma, or scale-up activities is a plus

Preferred Experience:- DeltaV or other distributed control systems (DCS)
- Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or Root Cause Analysis

- Batch manufacturing, emulsion polymerization, or product scale-up activities
