The Process Engineer is responsible for coordination of the EBM operators and guidance for maintenance needs to the maintenance staff.
Establish standards and procedure for the EBM machine operation and molds/personalization part change overs
Support the plant in the evaluation and development of the team, identifying strengths, problem areas and action plans for performance improvement
Oversee the EBM (Uniloy) machine operation process for correctness and timeliness
Provides input to product and process improvements
Support in identifying risks of product/process for the Plant Manager
Support manufacturing including assist in day to day troubleshooting of issues
Develop and execute validation protocols
Compliance and audits
Lead the operators team for effectiveness, efficiency and daily productivity
Ensure KPI targets are met in line with current targets
Map training plans as well as design, develop and implement for operators; ensure documentation and flow of process for operators training and continued progression in line with implemented training matrix
Ensure quality standards are met
Participate in the safety processes of the plant
Comply with all company safety policies and procedures as well as maintain good housekeeping and GMP practices/Global Food Safety practices
Other duties as assigned by manager
4+ years of experience in EBM Uniloy equipment on a lead role as process engineer; experience in manufacturing support.
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Must be able to work flexible hours to complete necessary changes and provide support for processing on all shifts
Good communication and team building skills
Good working knowledge of computer systems, including MS Office and SAP
Ability to effectively communicate technical system issues
Experience with lean manufacturing processes
