Electrical Assembler Build Electrical Systems That Power Industrial Equipment
Are you someone who enjoys working with your hands, reading schematics, and bringing complex equipment to life? We're looking for an Electrical Assembler to join our growing manufacturing team.
In this role, you'll assemble electrical and mechanical components, wire control panels, interpret blueprints and schematics, and help build high-quality industrial equipment. Whether you're an experienced assembler or have recently completed electrical training, this is an excellent opportunity to grow your career in a stable, team-oriented environment.
What You'll Do- Assemble electrical and mechanical components using hand and power tools
- Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematics, and work instructions
- Perform electrical wiring, panel wiring, wire routing, and crimping
- Complete machine assembly and mechanical assembly tasks
- Use tape measures and measuring tools to verify dimensions and specifications
- Troubleshoot and assist with repairs on mechanical and electrical equipment
- Inspect completed assemblies to ensure quality and accuracy
- Support various production areas as needed
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
- Follow all safety and quality standards
Required Qualifications
✅ At least 6 months of manufacturing or production experience
✅ Ability to read and follow blueprints, diagrams, and electrical schematics
✅ Experience using hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment
✅ Ability to accurately use tape measures in SAE and metric units
✅ Experience with electrical wiring, panel wiring, or electrical assembly
✅ Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
✅ Ability to pass an electrical assessment
✅ Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Preferred Qualifications- Electrical certification, trade school training, or related coursework
- Experience with wire routing, crimping, and panel building
- Mechanical or machine assembly experience
- Forklift experience
- Basic welding experience
- Troubleshooting and repair experience
- Strong problem-solving and mechanical aptitude

This is a hands-on manufacturing role in a fast-paced production environment where quality and teamwork are highly valued. You'll work with electrical components, industrial equipment, hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment while helping build custom products that make a real impact for customers.
Overtime opportunities may be available based on production needs, including occasional Fridays or Saturdays depending on shift schedules.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Machesney Park, IL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
