Pures Food Specialties LLC is seeking a Mixer Operator to support production of premium nut butters and related products. In this role, you will set up, operate, and monitor mixing equipment, accurately scale and add ingredients, and follow batch sheets to meet quality and consistency standards. You will perform in-process checks, complete production records, and follow GMPs, food safety, and sanitation procedures.
The position requires safe material handling, basic troubleshooting, equipment cleaning, and collaboration with production and quality teams in a fast-paced, quality-driven facility.
Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and monitor mixers to produce nut butter and related products to specification
- Accurately weigh, measure, and add ingredients following batch sheets and production schedules
- Perform in-process quality checks and record data to ensure consistency and food safety compliance
- Follow GMPs, HACCP, and plant food safety and sanitation procedures at all times
- Clean and sanitize mixing equipment and work areas according to SOPs
- Assist with basic equipment troubleshooting and communicate issues to maintenance or supervision
- Handle raw materials and finished product safely, including lifting and staging materials
- Complete production and lot-tracking documentation accurately and on time
- Work closely with production, quality, and sanitation teams to meet output and quality targets
