Team Lead II

G&W Electric Co., a global leader in innovative power grid solutions, is seeking a Team Lead II to guide daily operations in our manufacturing area. You will coordinate production schedules, assign work, and ensure products meet strict safety and quality standards. In this hands-on role, you'll coach and develop operators, resolve production issues, and use data to drive continuous improvement. Partner closely with engineering, quality, and maintenance to support reliable, efficient output.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily activities of a manufacturing production team to meet safety, quality, and output goals
• Schedule and assign work, balance workloads, and adjust staffing to meet production plans
• Monitor production metrics and use data to identify and resolve bottlenecks or quality issues
• Coach, train, and mentor operators to build skills and ensure adherence to work instructions
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, and maintenance to support new products and process changes
• Enforce safety standards and drive a strong safety culture on the shop floor
• Support continuous improvement initiatives using lean tools and root cause analysis
• Conduct basic troubleshooting of equipment or process problems and escalate as needed
• Participate in performance feedback and contribute input on team member development
• Maintain accurate production, quality, and attendance records in ERP or related systems
