Team Lead, Manufacturing ​/ Production

G&W Electric Co. seeks a Team Lead II to supervise daily manufacturing operations for power grid products. In this role, you will coordinate schedules, assign work, and ensure your team meets safety, quality, and output targets. You'll monitor production metrics, troubleshoot issues, and drive root cause problem-solving to reduce defects and downtime. Partnering closely with engineering, quality, and maintenance, you will support continuous improvement, implement standard work, and uphold 5S and lean practices.

You will coach, train, and evaluate team members, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and integrity aligned with G&W's customer-focused values.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily manufacturing operations to meet safety, quality, and output goals.
• Plan and assign work, coordinate schedules, and manage staffing to support production demand.
• Monitor production metrics and resolve issues impacting throughput, quality, or equipment uptime.
• Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions to reduce defects, scrap, and rework.
• Implement and sustain standard work, 5
• S, and lean manufacturing practices on the shop floor.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, and maintenance to improve processes and support new products.
• Train, coach, and evaluate team members, promoting skill development and cross-training.
• Ensure adherence to all safety procedures, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
• Maintain accurate production, attendance, and performance records and communicate results.
• Support a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and accountability aligned with company values.
