At S&C, we are dedicated to providing competitive and equitable compensation for all our team members, and we are committed to transparency in our pay practices. The estimated annual base salary range for this position is $154,968 - $205,332.6. Individual pay within this salary range is determined by several compensable factors, including performance, knowledge, job-related skills and experience, and relevant education or training.
This role is also eligible for S&C’s annual incentive plan (AIP), subject to eligibility criteria.
Are you passionate about Production Operations? S&C Electric Company is seeking a dynamic individual to join our Production department. As Senior Manager-Manufacturing Training & Capability Development, you’ll be crucial in ensuring smooth operations and supporting our diverse team.
The Senior Manager-Manufacturing Training & Capability leads the strategy, design and execution of training programs that build capability across manufacturing operations. This role ensures front lines leaders, technicians, engineers and production teams have the technical skills, safety knowledge, and leadership capability required to meet operational quality and compliance standards. This role is responsible for leading and managing the Manufacturing Training Center operation;
partnering closely with Operations, Quality, Engineering and HR to align training and business priorities.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive manufacturing training strategy aligned with operational goals. Establish and maintain a multi-year capability, building a roadmap focused on standardized work, technical skills (welding, fabrication, assembly, painting, injection molding, wiring/electrical assembly, machining) and continuous improvement culture.
- Oversee the design and execution of technical training (welding, fabrication, assembly, painting, injection molding, wiring/electrical assembly, machining) for new hires based on identified standardized work utilized by production.
- Apply operator performance data, training metrics, and quality feedback to evaluate and improve technical training programs; focus on measurable performance and root cause analysis.
- Lead and manage the end-to-end operations, ensuring it functions as a high-performance learning hub. Oversee daily technical training center activities, including program scheduling, resource planning, equipment need identification and readiness, and trainer assignment to ensure consistent, high-quality delivery. Establish and enforce standards for curriculum development, instructional quality and learning effectiveness.
