Associate Marketing Manager (Floorcare Category – Contract)

Our client, a leader in the beauty tech space, is looking for an Associate Marketing Manager to sit in Chicago. This role will be 40 hours per week, 5x days per week onsite, for 6 months with potential to extend.

We are looking for a self-starter to join the floorcare category marketing team as the Associate Marketing Manager. In this supporting role, you will have business critical responsibilities including the day‑to‑day management and execution of product launches (from SKU set up to consumer journey and retailer planning). You will support commercial initiatives such as category forecasting, go‑to‑market planning, retailer strategy, sell‑ins and sales reporting, partnering closely with cross‑functional stakeholders such as Global Product Development, Demand and Supply Planning, Education, Sales and Finance.

The ideal candidate has some experience in marketing and is comfortable analyzing and using data to inform decision‑making. They are eager to become a product expert and a team player ready to lean in where the business needs demand. • Team Support
  :
  Support Beauty Category team with ongoing strategic planning, data analysis, and cross‑functional and leadership meeting prep.
• Go‑to‑Market Planning and Execution
  :
  Collaborate with Marketing Managers to plan, execute and measure product launch strategies to achieve business goals (market share growth, new product sales).
• Sales Reporting & Commentary
  :
  Support regular sales reporting, including identification of new opportunities and trends to drive the business performance.
• Sample & GWP Strategy
  :
  Support the sampling and gift‑with‑purchase strategies across 1P & 3P including identification of trends within the category to inform global strategy.
• Campaign Execution
  :
  Lead campaign set up process with support from Marketing Manager. Manage day‑to‑day execution, measurement and optimization of media plans in partnership with Marketing Manager, Creative and Media teams.
• Product Reviews Campaigns
  :
  Brief and manage new product micro‑influencer and product review campaigns, tracking and reporting ratings and reviews post‑launch.
• Category Insights
  :
  Support Category and cross‑functional teams with campaign, competitive and product insights.

• 0‑2 years of experience in consumer marketing or sales, strong preference for Beauty experience.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Some experience with project management skills; ability to manage timelines, plan, achieve, and evaluate results individually and through others.
• Attention to detail and accuracy is critical.
• Comfortable using data to inform decisions.
• Collaborative approach to work and problem solving.
• Flexibility; must be adaptable to a fast‑paced environment, be open to taking on more, and can adapt plans and direction as the business indicates.
• Strong communication skills; ability to present information (both written and oral) clearly and concisely across various levels within the organization.
