Position

Summary

As a valued member of the Devon Bank team, the Digital Marketing Coordinator will support marketing and communication initiatives that strengthen the Bank’s brand, community presence, and relationships with colleagues and customers. This hands‑on role is ideal for a creative, organized, and digitally savvy individual who enjoys working directly within digital platforms. The position focuses on day‑to‑day digital marketing execution, including social media, email marketing, website updates, and basic SEO.

Working closely with the Marketing Manager and cross‑functional teams, the Digital Marketing Coordinator will help deliver campaigns, events, and digital communications that enhance brand awareness and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities Social Media & Content Creation
  • Own day‑to‑day social media content creation, scheduling, and posting across Instagram, Facebook, Linked In, and Youtube.
  • Create engaging, on‑brand content including posts, stories, reels, and short‑form video.
  • Proactively suggest content ideas, formats, and trends that align with Devon Bank’s voice and audience.
  • Attend community events and visit branch locations to capture photos and video for digital use.
  • Design digital assets (social graphics, flyers, signage) using Canva and Adobe tools (Photoshop/InDesign).
  • Edit basic photo and video content for use across digital channels.
E‑mail & Digital Marketing
  • Assist in creating, scheduling, and sending email campaigns using Constant Contact (e.g., Mortgage Monday, Wealth Wise newsletter, Nonprofit workshops, event invitations).
  • Assist with drafting and editing customer and employee facing digital communications.
  • Maintain and update electronic signage, including lobby TVs and outdoor marquees.
  • Ensure all digital communications align with Devon Bank’s brand standards.
Event & Community Support
  • Support the promotion of community events, financial education workshops, and seminars through digital channels.
  • Assist with event‑day content capture for social media and post‑event recaps.
  • Prepare digital and print marketing materials as needed.
Web & SEO Support
  • Help update and maintain content on the bank’s Word Press website, including landing pages, blog posts, and announcements.
  • Assist with basic SEO optimization such as meta descriptions, alt text, internal linking, and content updates.
  • Maintain an organized log of website edits and coordinate with third‑party vendors when needed.
Analytics & Reporting
  • Monitor digital performance across social media, email, and website platforms.
  • Assist in creating monthly performance summaries or dashboards using Excel, PowerPoint, or Canva.
  • Use insights to help inform future content and campaign improvements.
Marketing Giveaways
  • Track and maintain inventory of promotional materials and signage.
  • Keep marketing storage areas organized and labeled.
  • Deliver marketing materials to suburban branch locations (Glenview and Wheeling) as needed.
Cross‑Departmental Collaboration
  • Work closely with departments including Mortgage, Wealth Management, Treasury, and HR to support campaigns and events.
  • Respond to internal requests for marketing support (e.g., flyers, templates, signage).
  • Help manage marketing calendar, digital asset library, and content approvals.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in digital marketing, social media, communications, or content creation.
  • Strong interest in social media and digital platforms; you enjoy creating content and working in these tools daily.
  • Excellent writing skills for digital and social platforms.
