Amylu Foods is hiring a Community Engagement Associate to join our team in Chicago, IL.
The individual selected for this role will live at the intersection of brand voice, culture, and conversation.
This role owns how our brand shows up in social spaces, responding to our community in real time and proactively building relationships that expand awareness, loyalty, and love for our brand.

Role DescriptionAs a Community Engagement Associate, you’ll be the front line of our social presence: engaging with fans, answering questions, joining relevant conversations, and creating authentic, human interactions that make our brand feel approachable, fun, and worth following.
This role is ideal for someone who is chronically online (in the best way), deeply understands internet culture, and knows how to balance brand guidelines with personality and nuance.
The successful candidate will have superior communication and project management skills and be able to bring a positive, fun attitude to our brand’s communication.
This is a great position for someone with 1+ year of social experience, ideally within a fast-growing consumer brand.
Primary Responsibilities- Engage & Connect:
Manage high-volume inbound messages, comments, and DMs while delivering timely, thoughtful, and on-brand responses that create positive community experiences. - Community Building:
Develop and maintain a comprehensive community database of key audiences (e.g., athletes, nutritionists, moms, Whole
30 enthusiasts) to support proactive outreach initiatives. - Messaging & Framework:
Create and evolve messaging frameworks that helps new and existing audiences understand our brand mission, values and product expansion. - Trendspotting:
Identify, interpret, and react to emerging cultural and platform trends to keep Amylu Foods relevant, engaged, and culturally connected. - Collaboration:
Work closely with the social and marketing team members using tools like Meta Business Suite, Smart Sheets & Sprout to execute campaigns, launches, and engagement strategies. - On-the-Ground Activation:
Seek and attend local events, retail activations, and brand experiences to support community engagement and marketing initiatives. - Relationship Management:
Build and nurture relationships with creators, partners, and brand advocates to develop a pipeline of long-term collaborators.
- 1+ years of experience driving social community engagement outcomes for consumer brands (CPG experience strongly preferred).
- Extensive knowledge of social media platforms and community expectations in the CPG space.
- Excellent copywriting skills with the ability to translate brand voice and tone into compelling social content.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage diverse audiences and build lasting relationships.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and adapt quickly under pressure.
- A deep sense of responsibility and pride in your work, holding yourself to a high standard.
- Willingness to travel for events, activations, and offsites.
- Bonus:
Knowledge of current trends and best practices in nutrition, food, and CPG.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
- This position is hybrid, with up to 4 days required in our Chicago office
- Occasional travel for trade shows (1-3 times a year)
$55,000-$70,000
