A mid-sized professional services firm is seeking a Manager of Marketing & Communications to lead day-to-day marketing execution and drive brand visibility, content strategy, and attorney support initiatives. This is a senior individual contributor role that partners closely with leadership, attorneys, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact communications, events, and marketing programs.
What You’ll Do- Execute firmwide marketing and business development initiatives in partnership with leadership
- Lead writing, editing, and production of marketing content for the firm, practice areas, and professionals
- Manage internal and external newsletters and related content planning
- Coordinate award submissions, recognition campaigns, and related announcements
- Oversee website content updates, enhancements, and performance optimization
- Support communications tied to new hires, promotions, and internal announcements
- Coordinate advertising, sponsor ships, and brand visibility initiatives
- Manage photography and visual content for profiles, marketing materials, and events
- Support social media strategy, training, and content development
- Coordinate legal directory and ranking submissions and vendor relationships
- Plan and execute client events, seminars, and internal programs with key stakeholders
- Support media relations efforts within firm guidelines
- Facilitate development of thought leadership content, including articles, client communications, and campaigns
- Assist with onboarding communications for new hires, including bios and marketing orientation
- Track and reconcile marketing budgets
- Maintain and update marketing procedures and standards documentation
- Collaborate closely with coordinators, attorneys, and external partners to ensure consistent execution
- Perform additional duties aligned with marketing priorities
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or related field required
- 4+ years of progressive marketing experience within a law firm or professional services organization
- Strong background in writing, editing, and content development
- Experience supporting branding, campaigns, and communications initiatives
- Familiarity with data tracking, analytics, and performance reporting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point
- Experience working with website platforms, SEO, and digital tools
- Experience supporting social media, vendors, and creative partners
- Familiarity with marketing automation tools and content platforms preferred
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with attorneys, leadership, and cross-functional teams
- Base salary range: $100,000–$120,000 plus bonus
- Final compensation offer is determined by experience, skills, and qualifications
