Position: Brand Director (Tech Brand)

Industry: In-house, technology-focused brand

Overview

We are seeking a hands-on Brand Director to partner closely with the VP of Brand and creative leadership to build, launch, and scale a category-defining brand. This role is highly executional and ideal for a senior Brand Manager–level leader who can take initiatives from concept to launch while operating with strategic rigor and speed.

This is not a traditional marketing role. The Brand Director will own brand development, identity, and go-to-market execution during a critical launch phase in 2026.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own brand strategy, positioning, messaging, and go-to-market plans from the ground up
  • Develop and execute brand activations including events, booths, merchandise, sales materials, demos, and launch assets
  • Partner closely with sales, creative, strategy, and production teams to bring brand initiatives to life
  • Build and manage brand and marketing plans, timelines, and rollout strategies
  • Support partnerships and external collaborations as needed
  • Create executive-ready decks, presentations, and brand documentation
  • Translate complex, technical concepts into clear, compelling brand narratives
  • Ensure consistency, quality, and clarity across all brand touchpoints
  • Work alongside a project manager to ensure seamless execution across initiatives
Qualifications
  • 4+ years of experience in brand management or brand strategy
  • Proven experience launching brands or products, ideally in a high-growth technology environment
  • Strong understanding of brand identity, GTM strategy, and launch planning
  • Hands-on executor who can both give and take direction
  • Experience collaborating closely with creative and production teams
  • Partnership experience is a plus
  • Sports industry experience preferred
  • Polished, professional, and down-to-earth
  • Highly organized, proactive, and execution-focused
  • Strong presence with the ability to engage and influence executives
  • Strategic thinker with a roll-up-your-sleeves mentality
  • Thrives in fast-paced, high-ambition environments
