We are seeking energetic and curious individuals to join our firm in our New York City or Chicago offices. Candidates available to start immediately are strongly encouraged to apply. As a member of the team, you will work on a diverse mix of profile-raising programs, including but not limited to amplifying client announcements through securing media coverage, executing organic and sponsored social campaigns, crafting thought leadership content, refining core brand messaging, coordinating conference speaking opportunities, and applying for awards. Further, you will provide support on special situation projects, such as investor-related issues, proxy campaigns, litigation support, management changes, M&A, restructurings, crises, etc.

Required Qualifications:

• Exceptional written and verbal communications skills
• Well-developed research and organizational skills
• Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively and efficiently in order to juggle and execute on multiple projects with strict deadlines
• Interest in corporate/strategic communications, investment management and media relations
• Ability to work in a growing, entrepreneurial and collaborative team environment with enthusiastic, high energy and a “can do” approach
• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, PowerPoint and Excel
• Natural curiosity and inclination to learn in fast-paced, exciting environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience directly interfacing with clients or customers
• Ability to integrate AI, such as Microsoft Copilot, into workflows

Responsibilities:

• Developing media relationships and interacting with editors/reporters from top-tier global press; creating media lists; conducting outreach to reporters and handling inbound media inquiries
• Drafting, reviewing, and/or editing various written communications materials including press releases, letters, Q&A, scripts
• Developing and executing social media announcements and ongoing campaigns (primarily on Linked In)
• Conducting in-depth, comprehensive research on a variety of topics and sectors
• Monitoring media coverage, social media outlets and other online forums (e.g., newsletter and Substacks) for relevant news in real time
• Liaising with client contacts and supporting account management activities for integrated programs including the full spectrum of strategic communications – including media relations (proactive, reactive), branding and website development, content creation, and social media support
